We at Roisesretreat have been running for many years now and have found a happy place, for not only the dogs,but the carers as well. We become a huge family that makes us special, you become our friends and your dogs become admitted to our hall of fame as we have so many tales to tell of every dog that comes to stay with us. In having my own dogs I know what I want in a holiday stay and have made these values my top priority to ensure every dog is spoilt and well loved. We have our new beginners, who are so unsure of why they are with us and where on earth have my dog parents gone, but because they get so much love from our dog carers they settle really well and often think its so good I will test the boundaries and see how much pampering I can get away with. We have those ones that think they are royalty and some are called Elizabeth Taylor or Her Royal Highness and they wind us around their little paws to make sure we know our place, but hey they are so adorable and so lovely we love to accomodate them as well . Then we have the seniors they just come in and make a place for themselves and just want some peace and quiet and lots of treats, sadly we too get attached to your dogs and feel the sadness when they go home to heaven but its a privelage and honour that you share them with us. We do get your little darlings that come in like a rocket and test our boundaries but we love them to and hope if you ever get a sorry we cannot have your dog again ,do not feel offended as its most likely barking that upsets our neighbours who complain , but we do not get that very often, when we have to say no as we do not say no to any dog but we do want them to be happy and relaxed on holiday so if it gets too the point where we say no especially for really older dogs we suggest a housesitter for you and it works really well as your dog is in their own enviroment and happy.
We have long standing relationships with our Rosiesretreat families and appreciate your feedback and love for us as well and we are always open to suggestions but for all the years we have been running everything just seems to work as our dog minders love dogs so much and your dog get attention and a buddy to be with while you are away and that is all they ask fo, is not that so , just to be loved like mum and dad loves them and we make sure they get that and more , so spread the word we are still going strong and if any of you want to be a minder yourself or know of somebody , get in touch with Linda we would love to hear from you.
